Isabel Faintych is a filmmaker and photographer. She completed her BFA in Film and Video at Pratt Institute in 2019, and was awarded the Steve Horn Art & Design Award for Excellence in Filmmaking. She shoots primarily 35mm photography. Isabel’s documentaries, Shine (2016) and The Baroness (2018), have played in film festivals around the world, winning awards for Best Short Documentary. Her photography work has also been exhibited in the Katonah Art Museum’s Young Artists Exhibit. She recently finished two narrative films, The Dollhouse and What Lies in the Woods. She has worked as the Music Director at WPIR Pratt Radio and as a post-production intern at Frederator Digital, Public Record, and Click3x (Industrial Color). She is interested in screenwriting, directing, and editing. She currently works as an Assistant Editor for an unreleased HBO Documentary series. Isabel Faintych currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
